Filter View

To view the current filter, click the View button on the Filter Specifications Page of the Component Properties dialog. By placing markers on the filter, you can determine the attenuation at any frequency. This page is not intended for filter design, rather as an aid in determining system requirements. The currently selected filter is displayed as attenuation (dB) versus frequency (MHz).

BW x

The number of displayed bandwidth multiples.

Autoscale

Autoscales the graph to the current axis specifications.

Marker Setup

Displays the marker setup dialog.

A typical Butterworth filter response is shown below. Four markers are indicated on the graph with their associated values shown above the Frequency axis.

 

If a file is attached to the filter, the boundaries of the data file are indicated on the view as shown below.

 

By right clicking on the graph and choosing Toolbar from the popup menu, a customization toolbar is displayed as shown below. Using the toolbar, you can print the filter as well as change all of the graph characteristics.

Marker Setup

The Marker Setup dialog allows you to precisely place up to four markers on the graph. You may disable a particular marker by unchecking the appropriate box.
